Jane Martin
Registered Psychotherapist, MA, BA
Hey there, I’m Jane Martin — though most families know me as “Miss Jane.” I’m so happy to be joining the team at the Ingersoll Wellness Hub. Born and raised in Oxford County, I feel deeply connected to this community and honoured to support children and families close to home.
With over 25 years of experience supporting children ages 0–12, I help families make sense of children’s behaviour and the “big emotions” that often come with anxiety, trauma, attachment challenges, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and depression. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling, and I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to better understand what’s underneath the behaviour and how to respond with confidence and care.
My approach is warm, relational, and developmentally informed. I work closely with children, their families, and often educators to support emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, grief and loss, and difficulties within the school environment. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and am a certified facilitator of the Circle of Security® Parenting Program, a group-based approach grounded in attachment theory. I look forward to bringing this offering to The Hub in the near future.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m a mom to two teenage boys, a proud new dog mom, and someone who finds balance through physical fitness. I also love baking and cake decorating for the people I care about.
